Fewer Meetings = More Productivity

An article about group work product vs. mavericking reminded us of how many times a day we hear, "Not another meeting."; "Are you in on this meeting?"; "I'm not looking forward to this meeting."; and, of course, "I hate meetings!" These are all followed closely by a deep seated hatred of all things team-building.

You can read the article here: http://www.theamericanconservative.com/jacobs/hey-extraverts-enough-is-enough/ and you'll WANT to because it contains reference to a study where it was proven that meetings are unproductive and team work is a myth. Take it to your boss the next time he/she calls a meeting or comes up with some hokey team-building exercise.

And for the record, we hate group work product because there are always only one or two people that actually do the work while the entire group gets praise (if they happen to get it right). One of these days when we're tired of being those "two that do the work" we're gonna fuck you up by purposely ruining a group project. Hint, that day is arriving soon.
